- Infection only spreads when the weather is clear
- Wandering Traders will offer Mycelium for trade
- The infection's spread distance and natural immunity chances are configurable
Planned for the near future
- Mycelium cannot be shoveled into a path block
- Silk Touch is not needed to mine Mycelium
- Moss does not spread to Mycelium
- Increase Mycelium spread speed
- Mycelium rarely will spread to grass
- Light level does not affect Mycelium anymore
- Grass or Dirt (and Dirt variants) have a tiny chance to turn into Mycelium if there is abundance of mushrooms growing on it

- Mycelium has a tiny chance to spawn mushrooms
- Brown Mushrooms and Red Mushrooms planted on Mycelium have a tiny chance to instantly grow into Large Mushrooms
- Bamboo growth rate decrease on Mycelium
- An infection immunity (splash) potion for Players
- An immunizer potion for non-players
- Some redstone device that gives off a redstone signal based on infection level within a certain radius
- A new fungus that actively exhausts spores in a bigger radius
