Development Roadmap for Chaotic Mycelium

  • Enhance overall performance
  • Infection does not spread when the weather is anything but clear
  • Wandering traders will trade you 1x Mycelium for 3x Emerald
  • Make the debug and uninstall function only accessible to Operators

  • Mycelium cannot be shoveled into a path block
  • Silk touch is not needed to mine Mycelium
  • Moss does not spread to Mycelium
  • Increase Mycelium spread speed
  • Light level does not affect Mycelium anymore
Planned for the future
  • mycelium has a tiny chance to spawn mushrooms
  • mycelium rarely spreads to grass
  • grass or dirt (and variants) have a chance to turn into mycelium if there is "a lot of" mushrooms on top
  • Brown and red mushrooms planted on Mycelium have a 1/100 chance to instantly grow into large mushrooms
  • Enderman like to pick up Mycelium a lot

  • Some tool to give or help stimulate immunity to mobs
  • Some infection blocker potion for players
  • Some redstone device that gives off a redstone signal based on infection level within a certain radius
